Old fashion applique from a design engraved in the bowl of an old spoon, in rather modern colours.

Second design has quilting motifs added, and that automatically makes it my favourite for the day.

So pretty in pink … maybe a little bit over the top, but I like it.

Almost over the top … needs some colour editing perhaps!

Love the block in the centre of outer row!

A bright version of Lovin’ Spoonful, a contrast to the original colours.

Love the second design, and would like it in most colourways I can think of.

Love the third, but I think my favourite of these three is the middle one.

Winter has set in here in our part of the world, so I went looking for some designs which looked warm.

Now things feel so much warmer … but it might be an hour or so before I poke my nose out the door.

Love all of these … and now I will press the schedule button and go make a coffee, using the spoon which inspired these designs.
